Richmond Golf Club has a number of teams playing at various levels of the game. No matter what your handicap is, you will find a team to represent and enjoy competitive golf against rival clubs in the Yorkshire and the North East of England.

Teesside Union

The men’s Teesside Union team play throughout the summer. If your handicap is 12 or below and you want to play, please add your name to the list in the locker room or let John Simpson know.

In 2018, Richmond team member Ryan Howe won the “Elizabeth Embroidery” trophy by winning the most points from an individual player for his unbeaten record. A coveted trophy amongst the Union players.

NERGA

Richmond is one of 34 clubs playing in the NERGA. If your handicap index is 14.5 or higher and you are interested in playing in the team, please contact Colin Heaney. Richmond golfers will compete as individuals and within their Club team for a place in Finals Day to become NERGA Club and Individual Champions.

TOFFS

The TOFFS section play between 12-16 friendlies per year with inter-club Seniors matches arranged with clubs across North Yorkshire and the North East of England.
