Richmond Golf Club Hosts Northern Junior Golf Tour
Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club was the venue for a Masters Qualifying Round in the Northern Junior Golf Tour on Friday 19th August – and our very own Junior Captain Robert Dawson took the winners’ prize.
There were 40 young girl and boy golfers competing in this great event for under 18s, one of a series run across the North of England.
Jason Budd, Northern Junior Golf Tour Founder & Director said: “Everyone had a great day at Richmond Golf Club, with stiff competition across all age groups of girls and boys.
“The Club did us proud with the course in excellent condition, so a big thank you to the Greenkeepers and Members for hosting the day.”
Mick Campbell, Chair of Richmond Golf Club, added: “We were delighted to host this fantastic event and the standard of golf was tremendous, especially since our very own Junior Captain, Robert Dawson won the day with a great score of nett 64.”
