Richmond Golf Club Celebrates International Women’s Day
Richmond Golf Club (RGC) Ladies held a special golf event on Saturday 8th March to celebrate International Women’s Day.
On a gloriously sunny afternoon the ladies played a 9-hole Tex Mex golf competition, which was followed by the prize giving, with a glass of fizz.
Barbara Gregory, RGC’s Women-in-Golf Charter Champion said: “This was our way of celebrating International Women’s Day, and prior to collecting their prizes, each lady acknowledged the influential, inspirational and innovative women who have played a part in their lives.
“The short format fun team competition with a social element is a key part of the club’s Women-in-Golf strategy to help newer members socialise, integrate and gain experience of competitive golf.”
