Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club is delighted to announce that two-time European Tour winner Graeme Storm will be launching the Graeme Storm Golf Academy at Richmond GC.

As the season prepares to commence with Trophy Competitions again from July 1st, a revised list of dates is below for Gents comps.

As you are all well aware, due to Covid19 the Captain’s Week in June is postponed until later in the year. Captain’s Day will now take place on September 20th…please put in your diary.

The question has been raised about whether Richmond Golf Club should consider applying a joining fee to new members, and if so, at what level that fee should be set.

We hope you and your families are safe and well and that you have had a chance to get out on the course and play some golf.

The Teesside Union have worked hard to enable both the Wednesday night league and the Seniors league to take place in a shortened format. Both leagues will begin week commencing Monday 22nd June 2010.

We would like to thank the 18 volunteers who turned out today in very unpleasant weather to help de-stone the new area to the right of the 16^th.

The Halfway House will open every day (apart from Mondays) from Wednesday 3rd June from 9.30am – 3.00pm (Tue-Sat) and 8.00am – 3.00pm (Sun).

As you are aware, we have been widening the fairway on the 16th and we are nearing completion.

We are pleased to inform you that the Richmond Golf Club Academy Course is now open for use.

As with all steps during the Corona Virus, the Board will take a cautious approach to restarting Gents competitions.

We appreciate the fact that so many members stuck by the Club during the recent troubled times where CV had shut us down for a period of about 8 weeks.

Effective Monday 1st June, Richmond Golf Club will be open for up to 4 ball groups following the latest easing of CV restrictions. Since there will be more golfers on the tees and greens, strict social distancing of 2m must be maintained at all times.

Bookings will be available on BRS from midnight on Saturday 23rd but only from the 1st tee and from 7.30am onwards.

Our social distancing at Richmond Golf Club has been working well; thank you for parking well away from other vehicles and for sanitising your hands before and after play as well as distancing on the course. This allows us to make some further small adjustments to the Richmond Golf Club course rules.
