John Simpson has landed an prestigious position after being appointed as the President of the Teesside Union of Golf Clubs for 2020/21.

Competitions Secretary here at Richmond GC, John had been Deputy President in 2019/20 to Gary Ient and prior to that was Junior Deputy President.

He was officially unveiled as the 2020/21 President at the Teesside Union AGM on Tuesday, March 10th and will fulfil the prestigious role for the next 12 months.

The role includes representing the Teesside Union at key tournaments throughout the year and hosting the end of season awards dinner.
