Richmond Golf Club’s youngsters finished a highly creditable second in the Golf Sixes Series.

The Richmond youngsters collected 18.5 points across the season to finish behind Stokesley GC.

Bedale and Cleveland GC also featured in the North East & Yorkshire division with the young golfers playing home and away events throughout the summer.

“In our first season together with some never having picked up a club before, we finished a very respectable 2nd place.

“A tremendous effort, it was so good mixing with other clubs, meeting new people and clearly having fun as I was lucky enough to capture two of our young inspiring members Rob & Amy. Golf well and truly the winner here.

“Well done to Stokesley Golf Range on winning and we look forward to challenging you again for the winter series.

“We are looking for new recruits so if you are interested in getting your kids into golf, then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
