As with all steps during the Corona Virus, the Board will take a cautious approach to restarting Gents competitions.

The Competitions will re-commence on Sunday 5th July with the Rose Bowl and Victory Cup; all precautions as previously notified will be adhered to unless updated procedures are issued by England Golf. (Methods of scoring and recording of scores still to be decided).

During the month of June we will run four Sunday stableford competitions (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th) played off white markers and they will be handicap qualifiers. They will be run in two divisions: 0-16 and 17 and above. Please pay £10 pounds in the envelopes provided through the secretaries door which will cover all four Sundays (to avoid multi handling of money especially coins).

Record your own score and once verified by your playing partners text to John Simpson, our Competition Secretary, your name and score on 07928 334620. You will need to photograph your score cards (doesn’t need to be signed or filled in by your playing partner) and text the photo to John. Alternatively you can list your scores from 1-18 and text that to John; please ensure whatever method you choose that your name is legible or included.

We will make the following adjustments to the remaining calendar:

• July 12th – Green Howards Trophy and Stanworth Trophy
• July 19th – Beacon Cup and Jimmy Dean
• July 26th – Orchard Salver and Jimmy Dean Rnd 1
• Aug 6th – Orchard Salver and Jimmy Dean Rnd 2
• Sept 6th – RDC Rnd 1
• Sept 13th – RDC Rnd 2
• Sept 27th – Richmond Cup and Rigden Cup

All open days and matches etc are still under review.
