Gents captain Martin Catt has represented the Golf Club in the Richmond 950 celebrations, taking part in a walk from Castle Bolton to Richmond Castle on September 25.

Martin and wife Colleen completed 16.8 miles from Castle Bolton back to the town with Richmond Castle the finishing point.

Castle Bolton was the one-time prison of Mary Queen of Scots.

Ladies captain Penny Holroyd has been raising money for Rufus Wood, a community woodland that is being introduced as part of the 950 celebrations.
