Richmond GC member Davina Matthews will bid for glory in the England Golf Medal National Final at Woodhall Spa Golf Club on Thursday 15 August.

Matthews qualified for the showpiece event having finished as runner-up in the Women’s North Regional Final at Prenton Golf Club on Sunday 26 May.

She will take her place alongside 60 female qualifiers, who are all in the running to be crowned the champion handicap golfer of the year.

Davina warmed up for the event by winning the Mike Lee Trophy on Sunday.
