Gary Catt and Karen Jobling were crowned Richmond Golf Club champions after winning the Club Championships on Sunday, August 25.

Catt was winning the gents title for a 13th time as his 36-hole score of 143 earned a three-shot victory over defending champion Ryan Howe (146).

Jobling’s total of 148 saw her win the ladies Championship from Penny Holroyd, who won the nett prize having finished with a two-round total of 147. Jobling was one ahead with 146, but was ineligible after winning the gross prize.

Gary Christison (138) took the nett championship title by one shot from Catt (139), having led after a seven-under handicap opening round of 64. Billy Neill (140) was a shot further back in third place.
