Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club held a Ladies’ Golf Taster Session on Saturday 19th June, when 24 ladies new to the sport were given free coaching from resident PGA Professional Mark Robson of the Graeme Storm Golf Academy, based at the Club.

Richmond GC professional Graeme Storm has won the Golf Orka Championship 2020ProTour event at Rockliffe Hall.

Special thanks to Lynn Nowicki and Gary Catt who presented this year’s Club Captains’, Penny and Martin, with new flags to be used at their upcoming Captains’ Week.

We had beautiful conditions to play today and the course looked perfect so lots of excellent scores.

Chris Lightfoot and Ruth Lightfoot won the Families Trophy with an excellent score of 41, just beating Steve & Mark Turner on countback.

The Mixed Season is now upon us and the sign up sheets for all the Mixed Trophies are now up on the board opposite the bar: please lets make these the great social events that they used to be.
