Richmond Golf Club has been ranked as one of the top 50 courses in the UK for value for money.

In an article produced by leading golf review site GolfShake, the North Yorkshire course was among the best rated when it comes to value for money.

The shortlist of top 50 venues was made from reviews submitted by golfers who have played courses across the country and used the facilities during 2018, with a range of price points used to determine the overall score as well as impression and likelihood of recommending it to others.

Richmond earned 4.6 out of 5 in GolfShake’s value for money scoring system to earn a spot in the top 50.

Richmond joins illustrious venues like St Andrews Links and Archerfield Links on the list as well as fellow Yorkshire courses Rudding Park, Far Grange, Thornhurst Park, Ganstead Park and Owston Park as the best value for money tracks to play.

Earlswood Park in Wales was the only course to score 5/5.
