Hole 17 – The Bomb Hole, Par 4

A great risk and reward hole, reachable for many with a bit of help from a following wind and definitely on for the bigger hitters, who won’t even require a driver most of the time.

The hole features a series of small hillocks that bump along, with bushes here and there, so laying up isn’t straightforward, while anything left of the green brings double bogey into play and anything right requires the deftest of touches to keep your second shot on the green.

The shortest par 4 on the course and a clear birdie opportunity, but it’s best to go in here with a clear plan of attack.
