Fashion Show Raises Money for Local Charities

Richmond (Yorks) Golf Club was the venue for a highly successful charity fashion show on Monday 11th October.

The event, postponed from last year, was organised by Director Barbara Gregory as a fundraiser to support two local charities, Just the Job and The Rufus Woods Project.

Clothing was provided by The Complete Clothing Company and was modelled by lady members of the Golf Club.

Barbara said: “The event was well attended and raised a total of £485 for the two charities, and everyone had a great evening.”

Just the Job is a dynamic, inventive charity and social enterprise supporting adults with a wide range of abilities in practical, work orientated therapeutic activities. Established in 2005, Just the Job has grown and developed.

The Rufus Woods; a community project, is part of Richmond’s 950 celebrations. This new woodland will cared for by Just the Job.
